Information on this web page relates competitions that are ongoing throughout the year. Click on the relevant small PDF icon
to see the current state for the competition. The competitions are:

| The Bob Pope Ladies' Trophy | The trophy is open only to Ladies and goes to the player who has the highest total of her six best monthly stableford scores. |
| The Dave Armstrong Trophy | The trophy is open only to men and goes to the player who has the highest total of his six best monthly stableford scores. |
| The Ladies' Order of Merit | The trophy is open only to ladies and goes to the player who has the lowest total of her six best monthly medal gross scores. |
| The Men's Order of Merit | The trophy is open only to men and goes to the player who has the lowest total of his six best monthly medal gross scores. |
| The Most Improved Golfer of the Year |
The trophy is open to both ladies and men over 18 years of age and goes to the player who has improved their handicap most during the year.
The improvement is measured using the member's handicap just prior to the first qualifying competition of the year
and that immediately following the last one. The formula for calculating the 'handicap index' is that given in appendix H of the USGA Handicap Manual
[Handicap Index = (Initial HCP + 12) / (Final HCP + 12)]. To be eligible competitors must have had a handicap in the CGF handicap database for 12 months prior to the start of the competition that did not have the status of "Lost". New members are eligible with a current handicap certificate from their previous club. |
| The Ladies' Eclectic |
The trophy is open only to ladies and goes to the player who has the lowest total of her best net score for each hole for the
monthly stableford competitions. i.e. the score for each hole of a nominal scorecard is the best net score for that hole over
the 12 monthly stablefords and that nominal scorecard is then totalled. - DISCONTINUED IN 2017 - |
